In the heart of the citizens of Vaughan lies a desire to realize the full potential of our community.   The diversity of our people is unified by the belief that we must strive to do our best.  Our commitment to change is derived from the strength of our conviction that we can create a fulfilling future - one where the social, economic and cultural essence of our community will flourish, inspiring a truly remarkable renaissance of civic pride.

Like the vast majority of Vaughan residents, I believe that tomorrow can be better than today and that we all collectively have a responsibility to make it so.  In our future I see a community that will be praised for its character and integrity, respected for its spirit of innovation in the areas of health care, education and transportation, acclaimed for its responsible planning and economic leadership, admired for its environmental stewardship, renowned for its first class administration and transformed by the will of people to be agents of change, placing Vaughan at the forefront of 21st century cities capable of capturing the imagination of the world.

As a citizen of Vaughan, I am convinced that the best is yet to come.  I am committed to being part of this journey that will take our city to places it’s never been before.   We have worked well together and I look forward to furthering our partnership that will expand opportunities and provide a brighter future for our community.
